Tiziano Pignatelli was born in Rome, in 1956. He studied Physics at The University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He worked with the Italian Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Sustainable Development (ENEA), for about 39 years, initially on Modelling Nuclear Safety Analysis and since 1996 on Climate Change, in the frame of UNFCCC, UNCSD and attended the UNFCCC 1997 Kyoto Conference, as member of the Italian Delegation. Since 2001 he served the UNECE Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution Convention (LRTAP), playing the role of Co-Chair of the Task Force on Techno-Economic Issues (TFTEI), for 17 years, until late 2023.
